Neuberger Museum of Art
Distribution examines how artists are reimagining access to information through alternative infrastructures and delivery systems, fostering an understanding of the creative and aesthetic potential in digital media and social practice to shape what information is expressed and shared.

Distribution features artists responding to a political and economic climate in which the legislation and privatization of distribution networks has prompted creative vision to design decentralized, accessible and collaborative systems that foster informed decision-making and participation.

Organized by the Neuberger Museum of Art, Purchase College, State University of New York, and curated by Curator of New Media Jacqueline Shilkoff, Distribution furthers the Museum’s mission of supporting the work of contemporary artists by providing opportunities to display extant and create new work that engages and challenges our communities.

Generous support for Distribution is provided by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. Additional support is provided by the Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art, and the Purchase College Foundation.
