Screening of two short films that exemplify excellence in narrative film making and the strong personal storytelling emblematic of Purchase filmmakers.

The screening and lecture will be followed by a Q&A.


ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Daniel Kang ’96Film specialist, lecturer and alumnus Daniel Kang ’96 (Film) will present, sharing how he “lost everything he had during his first visit to Las Vegas, but through this painful experience, built the core of his teaching philosophy, inspiring young filmmakers to cultivate unflinching self-assurance and a unique perspective on the world, both necessary in becoming an artist.”
