Why Our Weekly Tours are the Best Way to Visit

Here at Purchase, all of our events are fun and informative, but nothing comes close to our weekly tours! Our larger events, like our Open House and Portfolio Day, are good experiences; and who doesn’t like the idea of meeting a  potential roommate! But when it comes to being able to absorb the information and make highly personal connections, I really recommend one of our general campus tours.

During the week, tours tend to be smaller, so as a visitor you are able to make the best of your time here and ask as many questions as possible and really take in campus life! Unlike at Open House and all of our other big events on campus, when you take a tour that is offered during the week, the experience tends to be more intimate, conversational, personable and tailored to you.

As a Photography student I feel it’s my personal duty to remind you don’t forget the arts tours are offered on Wednesdays and Fridays! If you are interested in a particular conservatory, that is definitely the time to come! You get an in-depth look at the specific area you are interested in, and it’s a really thorough visit experience.

So, if you are not able to make it to one of our big events because of school/work, your personal schedule, or because the event you wanted to come to filled up; no worries because we’d love to give you a more personal tour during one of our weekly offerings! You won’t be disappointed in your experience!
