Spring has arrived, bringing good weather and good music to Purchase. Culture Shock – the carnival and music festival Purchase students look forward to every year – took place on the Admissions lawn. It included various rides, yummy foods like funnel cakes, fried Oreos, corn dogs, and ice cream. Culture Shock always features good live music acts, including some Alumni students who previously studied at our Music Conservatory.

Purchase students made their way over to the event to get their faces painted, shirts tie dyed, and to pet some cute puppies. Students were able to bring guests and hang out on the freshly mowed grass as they enjoyed the warm weather and high energy atmosphere. It was another successful event at Purchase where students came together to celebrate the end of the semester, and for some, the end of their time at Purchase! Overall it seems the student body appreciated a well-deserved break from studying and work. This is an annual celebration that all of our newly accepted students have to look forward to!
