Note that some programs require an in-person interview, which is separate from a tour; to see if this applies to you, visit our Interview Policy page.

We set up these visits on most Wednesdays, and they include a general campus tour, an arts info session, and a conservatory tour of your choice: Acting, Film, Music (Composition, Studio, Performance), Dance, Painting/Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Theatre Design/Technology, Theatre and Performance, and Visual Arts. Registration is strongly encouraged, as these fill up quickly! Visits for the fall semester will end on December 8, 2017. Visits will resume in the new year on January 29, 2018.

Visual Media Day

This visit day (typically on a Saturday in November) is for visually-oriented prospective students—high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors—who want to see what the arts at Purchase are all about. The day includes presentations in various academic areas like Film, New Media, Designing for Theatre, Costume Design, Fine Art, Graphic Design and Photography, and also includes an optional one-on-one portfolio review. We offer open info sessions on financial aid and life as an artist, as well as campus tours, open studios, and shop tours.
