Accessibility Subcommittee

The Accessibility Subcommittee is committed to ensuring access to the Purchase College community. 

The Accessibility Subcommittee is part of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC). The Accessibility Subcommittee evaluates and recommends policies and procedures relating to access and services for individuals with disabilities in order to advance the College’s commitment to physical, instructional, and technological accessibility to all students, staff, faculty, and guests of Purchase College. Focusing on the procurement, use, and employee training of accessible technology as well as striving for universal design for the campus, the subcommittee monitors existing accessibility-related policies, including initiatives to educate all members of the campus community about individual, program, and institutional responsibilities for accessibility.
