Student Awards
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences recognizes student achievement with merit awards. The dean and faculty determine award winners based on criteria specific to each award. Scroll below to find out more about our awards.
The Distinguished Scholar Award
The Distinguished Scholar Award is given annually to a sophomore in the School of Liberal Arts and Science who has demonstrated academic excellence, character, and commitment to the service of others. The student receives $5000 for each of the remaining four semesters. This award is made possible by generous contributions from an anonymous donor.
