The School of Film and Media Studies Screening Series returns for Spring 2024!
Presenting works programmed and introduced by faculty and students, the FMS Screening Series is held weekly on Wednesdays at 7 PM in the Center for Media, Film, and Theatre, Screening Room 0065. Check your campus email and @cinemastudiespurchase for programming announcements, featuring frequent special guests and live musical accompaniment.
Members of the campus community, alumni, and prospective students are invited to a free screening of Mutt (2023), a feature film by Vuk Lungulov-Klotz, Film BFA alum ’16. A Q&A with Lungulov-Klotz will follow the screening.
The screening is hosted by the Purchase College Film Conservatory and School of Film and Media Studies as part of the weekly FMS Screening Series.

Professor Julian Kreimer will explore selected examples of colors and their meaning through Latin American history.
Sit in on the conversation as Purchase College Founding Film Professor Thomas Gunning, alumnae and current Professor of Film Iris Cahn ’76, and award-winning alumni Tom Cross ’93 and Chris Wedge ’81 discuss their time together at Purchase and their respective perspectives on the film industry’s past, present and future. During the event, founding film professor Mimi Arsham will be honored on the occasion of her 100th year of life.
