Program Prerequisites

  • A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
  • A minimum of one to three years of professional work experience in a communications, marketing, public relations, or media role

To qualify for the certificate, students must:

  • Social Media Marketing: Using the Tools of the Trade

Elective Courses (choose three)

  • Twitter
  • Facebook and Google+ (formerly Facebook)
  • Blogging
  • Search Engine Marketing and Optimization (formerly Search Engine Marketing)
  • Social Media Boot Camp
In addition to the tuition, there is a $25 nonrefundable registration fee paid once per semester.
