Looking for Accommodations?
For a true “camp” experience at a very reasonable cost, reside on the Purchase College campus in an apartment with three of your colleagues/fellow Purchase College adult students.
For those individuals looking for the “campus experience” and for those who welcome community living, single bedrooms (with a Twin XL bed) in four-bedroom air-conditioned apartments are available in Alumni Village.
Students share one bathroom, a kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher, a common dining and lounging area, and a washer/dryer with three colleagues/fellow Purchase College adult students.
Please note: No linens, pillows, blankets, plates, utensils, cups, etc. are provided. There are no on-campus dining options over the weekends and on-campus dining hours end by 2 p.m. Monday-Friday during the summer. If residing on campus, it is advisable to have a car (in which case a parking pass must be purchased) to travel to classrooms, restaurants, stores, etc. Zipcars are available (no parking pass is necessary). Microwaves are not available for rent through the College during the summer, but participants may rent them on their own. There are microwaves in the college cafeteria and the commuter lounge.
Internet Access: Each resident is provided a high speed Ethernet connection, but an Ethernet cable is required to access the internet which is the responsibility of each resident.
Fees: A flat rate of $1,200 for a single bedroom in an Alumni Village apartment for the period starting Friday, June 1, through Sunday, June 17, 2018. Full payment is due at the time of registration and is fully refundable if cancellation is received by Thursday, May 31, 2018. You will use course number ASC1050 when registering; the early registration discount is not applicable, and accommodations may only be reserved for the full 16 nights. On-campus accommodation are on available for the summer “Camp”.
The nearby Hyatt House is the official off-site residence. You may opt to reside in a two-bedroom/two-bathroom suite (shared with one colleague/fellow Purchase College adult student) or in a one-bedroom suite. Complimentary full breakfast buffet and complimentary daily shuttle service to and from the SUNY Purchase campus on a space available basis (reservations required) are included. All Hyatt House hotels are smoke-free.
Guests must make reservations on or before Wednesday, May 16, 2018 for the special rates.
