  • On the Purchase JobScore page enter your Username (email address) and password (the one that was emailed to you or the one you changed it to, NOT the registration password)
  • If you forgot your password, click on “Forgot Password?” and a new one will be emailed to you.

Can I update my information or change my password?

  • Under “My Profile” (on the top menu bar) students can update their personal and academic profile, change their privacy options and their password.

How do I search for Jobs and Internships?

  • Under "Jobs and Internships” on the top menu bar you can select “Purchase JobScore" for jobs posted on Purchase JobScore.  "The “NACElink Expanded Job Search” is an additional search and can be used to search for jobs across the country.

How do I apply for Jobs and Internships on Purchase JobScore?

  • Once you have searched for a job, you can view the job posting by selecting the job title.
  • On the right hand side of each posting there will be directions on How To Apply.
  • You will apply as per the posting:  Email, Mail through their website, etc.
  • If you see this message: - You do not have any resumes available to submit. Please upload your resume and try again - it means you need to upload your resume under "documents" on the top tool bar.  (see below)
  • Make sure to follow application instructions and send all materials requested.  This can include:  Resume, Cover Letter, Writing Sample, Unofficial Transcript, Recommendations, Application, etc

What are some tips for improving my search results?

  • Use the Advanced Search to search.
  • Do not search on too many variables.  It is best to search on Position Type(s), Job Function(s) and/or Keyword(s) and State(s).
  • It is recommended to search on multiple Job Functions.  For multiple selections hold down the control key (command on Mac) and select your choices.
  • Searching on multiple Position Types can also be helpful.  For example, if searching for a summer job in Graphic Design, the Positions Types to search on would be:  Part Time, Internship, Summer Job, Freelance and Project

What is the NACElink Expanded Job Search and how do I use it?

  • Through our partnership with the NACElink Network, the NACElink Expanded Job Search allows students and alumni to search for Experienced Full Time Jobs, Entry Level Full Time Jobs and Internships.  This gives students and alumni access to thousands of jobs beyond those posted on Purchase JobScore.
  • The search is by Keyword and Location.
  • For the Keyword search, you can use AND to search for two words and OR to search for either word.  ExamplesMarketing and Intern;  Television or Film.
  • The Location distance will reset itself when you search.  Be sure to set it to how many miles from the location you want to search.

How do I upload documents ?

  • Under "My Documents" on the top toolbar you can upload/remove all documents (resume, cover letter, writing sample, transcript, pictures, etc)
  • You can upload: .rtf .txt .doc .pdf .wpd .jpg and .gif. You cannot upload: wps. html. wave or audio files
  • Max size per document: 500kb and max number of files is 10.
  • The first resume uploaded will not be active until approved by a member of the CDC staff.
