We encourage you to visit and get a sense of our campus community. Whether you are just starting the college search process or you have been offered admission to the college, there are a variety of visit options to suit your needs. Please explore all of the options described below to select the one that is right for you.
Frequently called a "city within the country," Purchase College sits on a spacious 500-plus acre estate in Westchester County, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles north of Manhattan. With almost all the buildings centered within a great open space, Purchase College provides students with a vibrant and welcoming environment where they can study, collaborate, and create.

INFORMATION SESSION & CAMPUS TOUR
Summer Tour Hours
Monday - Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
No Weekend Tours
Conducted by an Admissions Ambassador, these hour-long general walking tours include stops at campus eateries, academic buildings, the library, and a residence hall. General tours will not offer in-depth tours of all arts facilities.
If you are interested in viewing specific arts facilities, please register for one of our Visual and Performing Arts Tours, on select Wednesdays. These tours are recommended for students interested in: Acting, Dance, Film, Music (Composition, Studio, Performance), Painting/Drawing, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture, Theatre Design/Technology, Theatre and Performance, and Visual Arts.
Pre-registration for summer tours is strongly encouraged.

Designed specifically for students interested in the Conservatory of Dance, Conservatory of Music, Conservatory of Theatre Arts, School of Film and Media Studies, and the School of Art + Design.

Fall Open House at Purchase will take place on Columbus Day and Veterans Day. More information and registration will be available in mid-September 2016.
You and your family are invited to attend your own DIY college visit experience! At Fall Open House, you will have the opportunity to tour the campus at your leisure, attend academic information sessions, learn more about financial aid, and so much more. Guided tours of campus, arts, science, and athletics facilities will also be offered throughout the day.

TRANSFER & LIBERAL STUDIES INFORMATION SESSIONS
Learn all about transferring into one of our 30+ traditional Liberal Arts and Science majors as well as opportunities to complete your degree within our Liberal Studies Program. Designed for transfer students who need flexibility, convenience and maximization of credits, the Liberal Studies program will enrich your understanding of the Liberal Arts while providing you with the tools to meet everyday work and life challenges. Liberal Studies is the only program that offer students the opportunity for full-time, part-time, evening, weekend, and online study.
Join us for an informal, personal session to learn about these programs, admission process and flexible course schedules. Information on credit-bearing professional certificate programs as well as alternative ways to earn credit will be discussed.

Accepted Student Events are a great way to explore the college and connect with the Purchase College community. Accepted Students are encouraged to take advantage of the numerous events throughout the spring semester!

IMMEDIATE DECISION DAYS
Immediate Decision Day is an opportunity for qualified freshman Liberal Arts & Sciences applicants to participate in a quick, simple, and personalized admissions process. See a list of Liberal Arts & Science majors (BA programs) available at Purchase College. This day is recommended for students for whom Purchase College is a top choice.
There are no dates available at this time.
Fall and Spring Semesters Only
Select Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10AM
Designed for groups of 10 or more, these visits are for high school students representing an educational institution or a community agency. Group Visits generally consist of a presentation by an Admissions Advisor and a guided tour of campus.
Applications from all groups are welcome; however, priority is given to Community Based Organizations. For information regarding visiting please visit the Group Visit Page.
Groups are expected to provide their own transportation to and from campus on the day of their visit. Public transportation options are available and will be discussed once your group is confirmed.
NYC METRO REGION COUNSELORS
Students interested in Purchase College who are unable to make the trip to our campus can meet with a counselor right in New York City. Join us for Meet & Greet sessions at the SUNY Center for Student Recruitment. Please encourage your students to take advantage of this convenient opportunity. Space is limited so register early!

ADMISSIONS ON THE ROAD
Each year, our admissions counselors travel to regional college fairs, high schools and other New York State and national recruiting events to answer your questions and meet you! We look forward to an opportunity to meet with you in your home town and answer any questions you may have about Purchase College.

Purchase College does not offer evaluative interviews for admissions except for select programs in the Visual and Performing Arts. These interviews occur during the application process by invitation only.
However, if you are interested in speaking with an admissions counselor you can arrange an informative interview. These interviews must be made in advance on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by calling the Office of Admissions at 914-251-6300.
The lack of an interview will not have an adverse impact on your admissions decision.
