Joseph Ferraiola ’18 is Director of Football Analytics for 3 Strand Sports & Entertainment,a full-service athlete management firm that represents elite NFL players, coaches, and executives.

Ferraiola helps educate clients on the use of football analytics in the efficient evaluation, grading, and coaching of players, game management decisions, and player health and load monitoring. Ferraiola’s mentoring, insight, and guidance, empowers clients to embrace and implement analytics to perform their jobs at an even higher level.

Ferraiola has a wide range of analytics experience across the sports landscape. In addition to cutting-edge work in constructing player acquisition models for the Philadelphia Phillies, Ferraiola has innovated the game of football for Next Gen Stats by analyzing league-wide data trends for NFL teams, executives, coaches, and broadcast networks.

Ferraiola was also named a 2023 Big Data Bowl Finalist, an annual competition held by the National Football League to demonstrate innovative and groundbreaking ideas for league-wide application of player tracking data.
