Jonathan Campozano ’14

Jonathan Campozano, Esq. ’14 is an immigration attorney in the Community Law Practice of Neighbors Link, an organization that works to build stronger communities through immigrant empowerment and integration.

As staff attorney for the legal arm of Neighbors Link, Campozano provides an array of immigration legal services.

He credits the Legal Studies (now Law and Justice Studies) program with honing his interest in law and improving his writing and critical thinking skills in preparation for law school.

Campozano gained important professional training through an internship at an immigration law firm, where he ultimately landed an employment opportunity that supported him through law school. These experiences solidified his interest in immigration law.

After attending law school, Campozano served as an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow at the Empire Justice Center in Yonkers, prior to joining the New York State Senate Democratic Majority where he worked on significant legislation (the Farm Laborers Fair Labor Practices Act and the Driver’s License Access and Privacy Act).

He also worked as an Assistant County Attorney for Westchester County’s Law Department in the Family Court Bureau.
