Steven Rutledge

Steven Rutledge is an artist born and raised in Brooklyn, NY.

Since he was a kid, Steven always had a certain fondness for stories about freedom. From Peter Pan to his current favorite series, One Piece, he’s always loved characters who are loud and proud, and his compassion encourages others to do the same. The performing arts, with its shining lights and extravagant storytelling, only seemed like the natural path to follow.

Purchase College has instilled great lessons of character, empathy, and storytelling in Steven; he hopes to use his career to express his creativity, sharing his love for the human experience. His Purchase credits include transformational roles, such as Waymon/Hunter Priestess in Good Goods, Butcher in Fucking A, and Titus Andronicus in Titus Andronicus.
