Andrea Patterson ’05
Originally from Detroit, Andrea Patterson ’05 is an award-winning theater and television actress.
Patterson won an Obie Award for Sustained Achievement in Performance in 2023 for the following theater credits:
- Confederates at The Signature Theater (2022)
- Seize the King at The Classical Theater of Harlem (2022)
- Cullud Wattah at The Public Theater (2021)
Patterson also played the role of Silver in Dominique Morisseau’s Paradise Blue at the Detroit Public Theater in 2019, working again with the playwright in Confederates.
Other stage credits include Flyin’ West, Three Sisters, Hookin’ or Daughters of Jerusalem, Follow Me to Nellie’s, Bacchae, and The King Lear Project (w/ James Earl Jones).
Screen credits include Blue Bloods (CBS), Manifest (NBC), and Jessica Jones (Netflix).
She also lent her voice to the video game franchise Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned.
