Tamona Williamson

Tamona Williamson was born and raised in St. Catherine, Jamaica before moving to the United States in 2011. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at the State University of New York College at Buffalo, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration. Prior to joining Purchase, she worked at two different private institutions.

She worked as a Student life Coordinator at Villa Marie College and as a graduate student assistant at D’youville College. This past summer she had the opportunity to facilitate the orientation program at SUNY Buffalo State. She is excited to take on this new journey at Purchase College.
