Adam Pape

Lecturer of Photography

Adam Pape is a photographer based in New York City. Born in Smithfield Virginia, he earned his MFA from Yale University in 2016. His first monograph Dyckman Haze was published by MACK Books in 2018 and was featured in Feature Shoot, Le Monde Magazine, Photo District News, Paper Journal, DAZED, GUP Magazine, and Bookforum. Dyckman Haze went on to be selected a shortlist winner for the Paris Photo -Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards and was included in the traveling exhibition.

His work has been recently included in group exhibitions at Danziger Gallery in New York City, Ashes/Ashes Gallery Los Angeles, Alice Austen House Triennial Deliberate Acts, and Aperture Gallery exhibition Delirious Cities.

He continues to work as an editorial photographer with commissions from The New Yorker Magazine, The Fader, Art in America, and Harper’s Magazine.
