William Klingenstein (1944-2024)

William Klingenstein, a long-standing officer of the Purchase College Foundation Board of Trustees, passed away in April 2024 after a long illness.

Mr. Klingstein was President of Klingenstein Capital, LLC in Greenwich, Connecticut, and President of the Carroll & Percy Klingenstein Foundation. Throughout his career, he held various positions with major Wall Street investment banks, focusing on the corporate bond trading and sales area.  He held a BBA from the University of Miami and resided in Purchase, New York. He enjoyed tennis, golf, gardening and spending time with his family and many friends. He is survived by his wife, Francine, children, and grandchildren.
