What is your motivation to succeed?

My motivation to succeed is to follow my dreams of being an artist because my parents weren’t able to have the opportunities that I had. 

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

I’m the youngest of four sisters. 

What are your long term goals?

To move out of New York, to publish my own book and open my own gallery. 

What does EOP/MAP mean to you?

EOP/MAP has always been a family for me. It’s been a support system not just academically but also personally. I’ve met people who will always be in my life thanks to EOP/MAP. 

What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?

As a person of color it was really important for me to learn how to think of art and engage in the art discourse to be able to create work that is both meaningful to me and others.
