What is your motivation to succeed?

My motivation to succeed is my social environment and my constant want to better it. To do so I only know one way, which is to get my education so I can improve myself and gain the knowledge to give back to my community.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

I have pet pigeons and love K-pop and I feel proud to say before I leave Purchase I was able to make the K-pop Club an official club :)

What are your long term goals?

My long-term goal is to be content with life and love myself. I want to potentially one day have my own private practice in counseling that will benefit others in the low socio-economic environment. But for now, I’m currently trying to decide on between going to NYU or Fordham for my MSW.

What does EOP/MAP mean to you?

EOP/MAP means a home away from home, as I have built a strong connection with my counselor, who I can tell anything to. I am grateful for all the support EOP has provided for me since I have gotten accepted to Purchase College. This program helped me gain access to opportunities that I may not have encountered and I am just truly appreciative of EOP.

What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?

The most invaluable experience is the support I received from faculty and peers alike. I believe I have come this far because everyone around me cared for me and gave me the chance to explore, learn and grow. The sense of community is what makes Purchase different from other campuses.
