Con Edison support strengthens the region by inspiring careers in sustainability and environmental studies

A $15,000 annual grant from the Con Edison Community Affairs Foundation is creating a pipeline of tomorrow’s science leaders in our community.

The Foundation’s support of the Science in the Modern World program in the School of Natural and Social Sciences enriches STEM education and creates opportunities for Purchase College students to interact directly with visiting scientists. Some of these science professionals take a hands-on role in the development and review of the students’ senior research projects, providing a needed forum for students to gain hands-on experience that will lead to professional avenues in the world of science.
