Meet Quentin Angus

“None of this would have been possible without Purchase College.”

Originally from Australia, I moved to New York to pursue my Masters at Purchase College in 2010. After Graduating in 2012 I released a few albums, including my last CD “In Stride” on German Record Label QFTF. I have been lucky enough to tour around the world with my groups, including appearances at the Detroit Jazz Fest and Montreaux Jazz Festival. This year, 2018, I just took on my first Tenure-Track, full time Assistant Professor gig at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. 

None of this would have been possible without Purchase College. From my peers, to the professors, to my proximity in NYC–it was all a wonderful combination that provided me with the tools, support and confidence to pursue my dreams. My time at Purchase will always remain some of my most fond memories.
