Students can order transcripts online through the National Student Clearinghouse.  Visit the transcript ordering page for more information.

The Registrar's Office is located on the first floor of the Student Services Building. Students can register for classes on the web or in person during specified registration periods. Payment for course registrations for Continuing Education nonmatriculated students and senior citizen auditors may be made at Student Financial Services, also located on the first floor of the Student Services Building.

Important registration note:  Registration for course(s) means you assume responsibility for paying all tuition and fees associated with your registration.  Unless you drop courses or withdraw from the College by the published deadlines, you are responsible for the charges even if you do not attend a single class.  The liability and refund policy is available on the Student Financial Services web page.

The Enrollment Services offices will be closed on Fridays during summer hours and there will be no in-person or live phone service available. However, the Registrar Staff will be reachable via email from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Please email Registrar@purchase.edu or leave a voicemail at (914)251-6361 for assistance.

The Registrar's Office will be closed on Friday, July 4 for Independence Day.

  • Fall 2014 classes begin: Monday, August 25
  • Fall 2014 Add/Drop period: Mon., August 25 - Fri., August 29
  • Deadline for NYS Residency Applications: Friday, August 29
  • Last day to apply for Pass/No Credit: Monday, September 8
  • Last day to Withdraw from a course: Friday, October 31
  • Advising Week: Monday, November 10 - Friday, November 14
  • Spring 2015 registration begins: Monday, November 17

  • Thanksgiving Recess: Wednesday, November 26 - Sunday, November 30
    Last day of Fall 2014 classes: Friday, December 19
  • Final Exam Week:  Monday, December 15 - Friday, December 19
  • Commencement: Friday, May 15, 2015

Graduation Application Deadlines

  • Students planning to graduate in Fall 2014 (January 2015) must wait until March 2014 for graduation application instructions.
  • Students overseas can submit an application when they return to campus the following semester, within three weeks of the start of the semester.
  • If you have plans to graduate prior to the semesters listed above and have not yet applied, please contact Laura Rotter in the Registrar's Office at (914)251-6368.

All students must submit a graduation application by the deadline in order to graduate. Graduation applications are available online through Forms link on the Registrar's homepage.
