What is the Regional Partnership of Schools and Colleges?

Since 1984, the Regional Partnership of Schools and Colleges has sponsored year-round professional development opportunities for district members’ teachers  through programs like the annual Teacher Workshop Day. Through the Partnership, distinguished college faculty members contribute to local education alongside their teaching colleagues in elementary, middle and high schools, sharing the latest research in their common fields, learning more about pedagogy from their pre-K-12 counterparts, and creating a healthy and critical dialogue between educators at all levels. Over the years, our efforts have resulted in an extraordinary array of program activities, institutes and workshops designed for and by teachers. Partnership programs help pool precious resources while enhancing instruction and identifying successful approaches to solving stubborn educational problems.
