Frequently called a "city within the country," Purchase College sits on a spacious 500-plus acre estate in Westchester County, 10 minutes from downtown White Plains and just 30 miles north of Manhattan. We encourage you to visit and get a sense of our campus community. Whether you are just starting the college search process or you have been offered admission to the college, there are a variety of visit options to suit your needs. Please explore all of the options described below to select the one that is right for you.

SUMMER TOURS
Summer Tours will run from June 10th through August 15th at 11:00am and 2:00pm Tours, Monday through Thursday.
Registration via a MyPurchase account is required. Once you have completed the required information you will be brought to the list of available dates for which you can register.
Information Sessions (Fall & Spring Semesters Only)
Conducted by an admissions representative, this 50 minute session is designed to provide prospective students and their families with an overview of our academic programs, admissions requirements and application process. A general campus tour immediately follows each information session during the academic year.
CAMPUS TOURS (Year-Round)
Offered year round, this comprehensive tour includes classroom buildings, residence halls, dining facilities, the library and more! A Campus Tour follows all Information Sessions during the academic year.

VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS TOURS
VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS VISIT (Fall and Spring Semesters Only)
Available on select Wednesdays at 10:00 AM during the academic year, the presentation and tours are designed specifically for students interested in the Conservatory of Music, Conservatory of Theatre Arts, the School of Film and Media Studies, and the School of Art+Design.
This three part day includes:
- A tour of our Residence Hall, Dining Facilities, and Library at 10 AM.
- An Admissions Information Session at 11 AM.
- A tour of the Visual and/or Performing Art facilities of your interest at 12:15/12:30 PM.
Visit Dates:
There are no more Visual and Performing Arts Tours this semester. The dates for Fall 2013 visits will be posted in the mid-late summer.

Open Houses are a great way for prospective undergraduates to explore the college and get a sense of the Purchase College community. The Office of Admissions hosts one Fall Open House and one Spring Open House (for juniors). Accepted Students should visit the Accepted Student Events page.

PORTFOLIO REVIEW DAYS
National Portfolio Review Day

This event provides students with the opportunity to:
- Have portfolio artwork reviewed by Art+Design faculty from various collegiate institutions*
- Tour the campus and visual arts facilities
- Learn more about the BFA and BS degree programs
offered in the School of Art+Design
*NOTE: BFA Film and BFA Theatre Design/Technology programs are NOT included in Portfolio Days.

CONSERVATORY OF DANCE VISITS
Students interested in studying Dance, don't miss this opportunity! Offered on select Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the academic year, the visit affords students the opportunity to observe a dance class, tour the dance building, and meet with a faculty/staff member.

IMMEDIATE DECISION DAYS
Immediate Decision Day is an opportunity for qualified freshman Liberal Arts & Sciences applicants to participate in a quick, simple, and personalized admissions process. See a list of Liberal Arts & Science majors (BA programs) available at Purchase College. This day is recommended for students for whom Purchase College is a top choice.
There are currently no Immediate Decision Days available.
SCHOOL GROUP VISITS
Designed for groups of 10 or more, these visits are for high school students representing an educational institution or a community agency. Group Visits generally consist of a presentation by an Admissions Advisor and a guided tour of campus.
Dates, Times and Registration
INTERVIEW POLICY
Purchase College does not offer evaluative interviews for admissions except for select programs in the Visual and Performing Arts. These interviews occur during the application process by invitation only.
However, if you are interested in speaking with an admissions counselor you can arrange an informative interview. These interviews must be made in advance on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. by calling the Office of Admissions at 914-251-6300.
The lack of an interview will not have an adverse impact on your admissions decision.
