Yes. Scores of 3, 4 and 5 on the AP test are eligible for transfer credit. The amount of credit varies from one test to another; the range is 3 to 8 semester hours per exam.  NOTE: Student applying for majors in the Visual and Performing Arts are not awarded credit for the following exams:  art studio/general portfolio, art studio/drawing portfolio, art/2D design, art/3D design or music theory.   We accept up to a maximum of 30 test credits. Please have score reports sent directly from the College Board to the Purchase College Office of Admissions.
