Yes.  Students must submit a written statement requesting a deferral. A deferral contract will then be sent to the student and must be signed by the student and returned to the Office of Admissions.

Students accepted into a Liberal Arts and Science program can defer their admission for up to one year. Students accepted into one of our Conservatory programs or the School of Art and Design must check with the Dean of the Conservatory for permission to defer their acceptance up to one year.
