Warren Lehrer is a writer and artist/designer known for his pioneering work in visual literature and design authorship. His recent award-winning book, Crossing the BLVD: Strangers, Neighbors, Aliens in a New America (co-authored by Judith Sloan; W.W. Norton) is part of a multimedia project that includes a traveling exhibition, an audio CD, and an interactive Web site, www.crossingtheblvd.org. He is the co-founder of EarSay, a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to uncovering and portraying stories of the uncelebrated.
