Larry Berglas is an attorney based in White Plains, NY, whose diverse solo law practice includes a focus on the area of arts business law. He counsels creative individuals, business owners, and clients generally in matters of copyright, trademark, entertainment, contracts, estate planning, business, litigation, nonprofit corporation, guardianship, and real estate, among other areas. He has been teaching arts business law classes at Purchase College since 2001.
In addition to his commitment to the law, Berglas is a writer and a musician. His freelance articles have been published in The New York Times, Travel & Leisure, DECOR, Westchester Magazine, Hudson Valley, the International Interactive Communications Society newsletter, at The GolfExpert.com, and at USLaw.com. Berglas plays acoustic and electric guitar and, during his college days, performed at coffee shops, radio stations, and festivals in the Hudson Valley. These days, he may be found playing his Fender Telecaster at local blues jams.
