Purchase Responds: Hurricaine Katrina

Fundraising to Date

Thanks to the efforts of President Schwarz, the Purchase Student Government Association, Division of Student Affairs, Purchase College Assocation and others, the College raised over $11,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, including the matching money pledged by President Schwarz who matched dollar for dollar every student contribution.

These funds will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and to other community organizations in the affected region.
