Student Affairs is headed by the vice president for student affairs/associate provost for integrative learning.
Student Affairs includes the following offices: Advising and Learning Centers; Career Development; Community Standards; Counseling Center; Dining Services; Physical Education, Recreation & Athletics; Residence Life; Student Health Services; Student Life; and the Purchase College Association (auxiliary service corporation, which includes the College's transportation system, campus bookstore, dining service, More Card, vending and washing machines, etc.).
Students are strongly encouraged to participate actively in the social, cultural, recreational, and governmental life of the campus, just as they are urged to assume significant roles in planning their academic programs. Student participation in all aspects of campus life supports the development of a greater sense of community at Purchase while enhancing the college experience of the student.
