Fall 2016

  • Classes begin: Mon., Aug. 29
  • Labor Day: Mon., Sept. 5 (no classes)
  • Rosh Hashanah (begins at sundown Sun., Oct. 2): Classes in session
  • Yom Kippur (begins at sundown Tues., Oct. 11): Classes in session
  • Tues., Oct. 25: Study day–no classes
  • Thanksgiving Recess: Wed., Nov. 23 through Sun., Nov. 27 (no classes)
  • Final exam week: Dec. 12–16
  • Classes end: Fri., Dec. 16

Spring 2017

  • Classes begin: Wed., Jan. 25
  • Spring Recess: Sat., April 8 through Sun., April 16 (no classes)*
  • Final exam week: May 10–16
  • Classes end: Tues., May 16
  • Commencement: Fri., May 19
    *Passover, Good Friday, and Easter fall during Spring Recess
