Currently there are 4 full time college employees who serve as members of the Purchase Fire Department. These members have received extensive training provided by the New York State Fire Academy and play a vital role in protecting the campus and the local community.

Purchase College Student Volunteers
In 2001 there were 4 full time Purchase College Student who served as members of the Purchase Fire Department. There are also currently 6 Purchase College graduates serving the department, and others who have moved on and are currently serving other volunteer and professional fire departments.
How Do I Join ?
If you would like to join the Purchase Fire Department contact the Environmental Health & Safety Office or complete the attached membership application below and submit it directly to the Purchase Fire Department. You may also call 914-253-9044 for more information.
