Students attend classes at the University of Burgos. Classes are kept small, allowing students to receive individual attention and the faculty to use the entire city, if he or she chooses, as the setting for courses. All students take Spanish at the appropriate level, which can be applied toward the State University of New York General Education language requirement. Students must also take an elective taught by Purchase College or University of Burgos faculty, choosing from the courses:
Spanish Language; Cross-Cultural Psychology; Europe's Age of Dictators; States, Citizens, Human Rights and Literature; and Culture and Society in the West II.
