Lawrence Kornfeld

B.A., Adelphi University; graduate study, Brooklyn College, City University of New York. Professor of theatre arts, 1983–2004, and dean, Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film, 1983–86. Director of the theatre program, 1972–73, New York State Council on the Arts; co-founder and co-artistic director, 1971–72, Theater for the New City; co-founder and resident director, 1961–71, Judson Poets Theater; general manager, special events director, and assistant to Julian Beck, 1955–61, The Living Theater. Directing awards include three Obies, two Show Business Awards, and an NET Award.
George Morrison
Professor Emeritus of Theatre Arts
Ph.B., University of Chicago. Studied at the Yale School of Drama and The Actors Studio. One of the leading acting teachers in the U.S. and a founding faculty member of the Acting Program at Purchase College. Recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Extensive directing credits include Broadway, Off Broadway, and network television. Co-founder (with Paul Sills and Mike Nichols) of the New Actors Workshop in New York City.
Eulalie Noble
Associate Professor Emerita of Theatre Arts
Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and American Academy of Dramatic Arts, New York; studied with Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg, Elia Kazan, Robert Lewis, and Martha Graham. Life member of the Actors Studio. A legendary actress in New York and Connecticut with major roles on Broadway and in Arthur Penn’s film, Alice’s Restaurant. Director of the Actors Workshop, New York.
Joseph Stockdale
Professor Emeritus of Theatre Arts
B.A., Western Michigan University; M.A., University of North Carolina; Ph.D., University of Denver. Member of Actors Equity, the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers, and the Dramatists Guild. Directed more than 130 productions in regional (L.O.R.T.), college and university, summer stock, and Off-Off-Broadway theatres.
