Summer 2013 Youth Programs in the Arts:
Refund Policy and Schedules

To guarantee parents and their children the summer program of their choice, we make decisions regarding our summer programs one month in advance. We hire instructors and teaching assistants and buy supplies based on the number of registered students. Therefore, we must adhere to the following refund policy and schedules to ensure that approved programs remain viable.

A full refund (including tuition deposit and registration fee) is automatically granted if a program is canceled or closed to further enrollment by the college. Otherwise, the refund amount (minus the nonrefundable tuition deposit and $25 registration fee) is determined by the date a written withdrawal request is received from the parent or guardian, according to the following schedules:

For programs beginning July 1, 2013, written withdrawal requests received:
By May 31: 100%*
Between June 1 and June 14: 75%*
Between June 15 and July 1: 50%*
No refunds available for withdrawal requests received after July 1.
*Excluding the nonrefundable tuition deposit and $25 registration fee.

For programs beginning July 15, 2013, written withdrawal requests received:
By June 14: 100%*
Between June 15 and June 28: 75%*
Between June 29 and July 15: 50%*
No refunds available for withdrawal requests received after July 15.
*Excluding the nonrefundable tuition deposit and $25 registration fee.

For programs beginning July 29, 2013, written withdrawal requests received:
By June 28: 100%*
Between June 29 and July 12: 75%*
Between July 13 and July 29: 50%*
No refunds available for withdrawal requests received after July 29.
*Excluding the nonrefundable tuition deposit and $25 registration fee.

Refunds for credit card payments are automatically credited to the cardholder’s account. Please allow up to 6–8 weeks for refund check processing from the date a written request is received.

SCHEDULE and OTHER CHANGES
Purchase College reserves the right to cancel or combine any course or program for which the enrollment is deemed insufficient or for other administrative reasons. The scheduled faculty and electives are subject to change, pending sufficient enrollment. Facilities and equipment, including software, are also subject to change.
