Bachelor of Music in Performance:
Piano

In addition to meeting general degree requirements, undergraduate music performance majors who concentrate in piano must complete the following conservatory requirements (91 credits). Of the 91 credits, up to 8 credits of music history may be counted toward the liberal arts requirement (30 credits minimum) for the degree.

Updates to the 2011–13 College Catalog

Effective Fall 2013:

• Credits reduced from 1.5 to 1 in MPE 2610/Collaborative Piano, and 2–4 credits of electives (MUS 4450/The Business of Music or an arts management elective) eliminated in the senior year, fall semester.

Effective Fall 2012:

• Credits reduced from 2 to 1 in MPE 1480/Piano Performance Class.
