While I believe every student is an individual, regardless of style, all benefit by addressing the fundamentals of music-making: technique, groove, creativity, and musicianship. My approach is to encourage students to find their own voice through the study of the masters. Answers to questions about technique, groove, creativity, and musicianship can be found in their recordings. My larger goal is to give students the necessary analytical tools so that they can become their own teacher.
