Creation is automatic, it simply occurs. Creativity, on the other hand, is somewhat more intangible. It can be nurtured.

My foremost ambition as a teacher is to nourish students' desire to develop a multi-dimensional, unrestrained imagination while simultaneously acknowledging boundaries. It is immensely important to instill enthusiasm in students. In doing so, they will acquire the desire to become their own teachers.  I believe in common ground. The establishment of trust between myself and student allows for the sharing of energy, the creative process and, ultimately, realization.

Every life is a composition which is constantly unfolding.  If the endeavour of musical composition can take on a similar ease and profoundness, the music will have truth.
