Grammy Award-winning jazz bassist Todd Coolman, Director of the Purchase Jazz Studies Program, conducts this 17-piece band that performs jazz from every era. From staples like Ellington and Basie, to more modern works by today's leading composers and arrangers.
Directed by David DeJesus, the Purchase Latin Jazz Orchestra is an 8-piece band that performs classics from such masters as Machito, Tito Puente, and Mario Bauza, as well as contemporary pieces from today's leading composers.
