Director of Finance for Campus Foundations

Description:  Purchase College is seeking an individual with strong accounting skills for the position of Director of Finance for Campus Foundations. Responsibilities include: maintaining financial control over foundation funds and insuring that those funds are expended in accordance with donor restriction; preparation of financial reports and analysis for foundations’ management, boards of trustees, and Purchase College; review of endowment investment reports for management and the foundations’ investment committees; review and updating of foundation accounting policies and procedures; preparation of consolidation financial reports for management and Purchase College; oversight of all foundations’ accounting activities; co-ordination of year-end audits with the foundations’ public accountants and The State University of New York.

Qualifications:  CPA/MBA preferred; Strong communication and leadership skills; knowledge of not-for-profit accounting; proficient in Excel.
