Description: The Dean, who reports to the Provost provides artistic, academic, and administrative leadership and oversees all operations relating to student and academic life. Purchase College seeks vigorous and imaginative leaders who can motivate and engage the full talents of faculty, students, and staff to continue and enhance the College’s status as a leader among schools of music.

Strong candidates will be of national reputation and possess active and distinguished professional records, including some combination of artistic accomplishment, teaching, and leadership in their respective discipline.
