Description:  The School of Art Design seeks candidates for the position of Digital Technology Specialist.  This individual manages the three main digital art facilities and laser printing and assists with smaller satellite labs and inkjet printing.  Duties include troubleshooting software (Adobe Master Collection & Final Cut Studio), researching new and replacement equipment and software, maintaining an inventory of expendable supplies, providing demonstrations and training on software and digital equipment, managing users, group and printing in a networked domain and assisting with special projects that require technological skills.

A Bachelors and / or Masters degree in an arts related field, experience supporting networked Macintosh OS X computers, expert knowledge of the Adobe Master Collection and strong troubleshooting capabilities is required.

Experience with one or more of the following is desired:  experience working with students or in an instructional setting, prepress graphics experience, color correction and calibration, large format inkjet printing, and/or multimedia.
