Description: Purchase College is seeking an Asst. Director of HR.  This position requires generalist skills to manage the day to day HR operations with an emphasis on labor relations, policy development & implementation, contract administration, organizational reviews, report writing, internal audits, investigations, & special projects.  Must be able to work as part of a team as well as to take initiative and work independently. 

 

Qualifications: Successful candidate must have advanced computer / report writing skills, strong analytical, oral, & written communication skills, be a self starter w/ ability to multitask, and be detail oriented.  Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) & 4+ years of progressive responsibility in HR.  Previous exp. in higher ed /public sector & union exp. preferred.  Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.  Salary in 70’s w/ excellent benefits.

 

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience ($70K range with excellent benefits).
