We are open for medical visits Mondays and Thursdays only from 8:00 - 4:00. We are closed from 12:00 - 12:30.

Being away from home and ill can be worrisome and difficult. We in Student Health Services are anxious to help you. We provide primary care: diagnosis, treatment and education. Please seek help early. Our clinicians are here to serve you.

Health Services does not issue "Sick Notes" .

Students obviously may need to seek medical care and a visit to SHS may necessitate missing a class. However, in most cases, a little planning would result in a minimum of missed academics.

Health Services advises students to communicate directly with professors if they are not feeling well enough to attend class.

When Health Services is Closed

• If emergency care is needed, call University Police @ 6911 for immediate assistance
• If out-patient care is needed, go to the Westchester Medical Group Urgent Care Center at 210 Westchester Avenue, White Plains (Hours: Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). No appointment necessary. Phone number (914) 681-3100 or you can visit Doctors Express
• If it is after hours and you are sick and unsure whether to contact emergency services you can call Dr. Reuben at (203) 506-1832.
