Melissa Wheeler –Assistant Director of Community Partnerships

One of the primary functions of my position is to facilitate commuter programming and services at Purchase College.  This is my fourth year at Purchase College. I am originally from Ohio, where I earned my Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration at The University of Akron.  Throughout my undergrad and graduate degree programs, I was a commuter, so I understand the challenges you face as a commuter. It is my goal to keep you informed and connected to campus and most importantly I encourage you to get involved, whether it is through attending campus events, joining a student organizations or participating in all of the different service and volunteerism opportunities on campus.   Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns at commuters@purchase.edu.
