Important Dates to Remember

March 6 Deadline to submit “Graduation Application” to Registrar in order to be included in the Commencement Program

March 6 Deadline for application to be Senior Class Speaker

March 13 Deadline for submission of Senior Project titles to your Dean if you want the title of your project to be printed in the Commencement program

April 2 One announcement is sent to the parent/family of each graduate; additional announcements may be purchased at the More Card Office in CCN.

May 5 Annual Campus Awards Ceremony (4:30 p.m. – Performing Arts Center)

Early May Check www.purchase.edu/commencement for updated Commencement information (including details of processional, line-up procedures, rehearsal, etc.)

Beginning Early May Get your Cap and Gown from the More Store and pay your $90 commencement fee that includes the cost of you cap and gown at the time of pick.  Plan to pick up your regalia a week or so BEFORE Commencement.  That allows time for the wrinkles to either hang out or get ironed out!

May 12 Senior Project Procession for LAS Grads Only (4:00 p.m. – Campus Center South)

May 14 at 11:00am Commencement Rehearsal under the Tent on the West Lawn

May 15 Commencement Ceremony - West Lawn

• 11:25 – Line up for Processional Begins in the Music Building
• 12:20 – Processional Begins
• 1:00 – Ceremony Begins

May 16 at 10:00am On campus residences close for all graduates
