1) Program: Conservation Project Support

Supports matching grants to help museums identify conservation needs and priorities and to perform activities for the safekeeping of collections. Collections may be non-living, systematics/natural history, living plants, and living animals. Activities may include environmental improvements, research, surveys, training, and treatment. 2) Program: Cognition and Student Learning

Supports research that uses recent advances in cognitive science to address significant educational problems, in order to establish a scientific foundation for educational practice by supporting research on key processes of attention, memory, & reasoning that are essential for academic achievement.
