Withdrawing from Housing

Students who are withdrawing from the college or transfering should contact the registrar's office at 914-251-7000 to complete proper withdrawal documentation.

Students who wish to continue their studies at Purchase but wish to withdraw from housing should only do so if they are sure that they do not need housing. After a student withdraws from housing, their spot gets reassigned quickly to a student on our waitlist. After withdrawing, it is very difficult to get back into on campus housing for the current and even subsequent semesters.

Any students still wishing to withdraw from housing should e-mail from their Purchase email account. For privacy reasons, withdrawals from housing cannot be taken over the phone.
